1000 vegetarian recipes - I got this cook book about 6 months ago and have made

several of the recipes and liked them all. My favorite is the spiced mashed

black beans, which I've found ways of twisting as well. Their risotto dishes are

quite good too!

I have botk 1000 Vegetarian recipes and the 1000 Lowfat vegetarian recipes,

those are two 5 star cookbooks. Everything turns out delicious, easy to prepare

and big on flavor

A friend of mine just let me borrow one of her favorite cookbooks:

How it All Vegan by Tanya Barnard & Sarah Kramer

Such amazing simple recipes! Delicious!

I just ordered my own copy. She said it was a very popular book in Canada.

There is a whipped topping recipe I need to try next.

I am just loving this question. I am getting some many new books to

check out from the library. Then if I find I really love them I will

add them to my wish list for Christmas and my birthday.

Mindy I will make a list asap of my favorite cookbooks. I didn't have a chance

to do it last night. It's best to get them from the library and you can see if

the recipes are of your liking. It's such a waste to buy cookbooks and not use

them..

I really liked How To Cook Everything Vegetarian - for me it was

very " outside the box. "

The Moosewood Restaurant Cookbooks have a vegetarian emphasis - not

sure if that counts. They are GREAT for finding delicious, low-fat

recipes!

I always get overwhelmed by cookbooks. I like to read recipes and use them

for ideas. Even when baking I don't follow a recipe. I love the recipes

here, and have tried them, but something about the cookbook makes it always

seem like too much work for me and I end up never using them.
