I will never forget that tip.  Now I will try the cabbage.

The seed is in bloom, will it meet an early doom

or survive in a tranquil sea?

Does it face an early end, will it find a real friend,

should it be called humanity?

Will creation of man bring death by his hand

or will life be his destiny?

PS. Another way to get rid of the bitterness is to cook them with cabbage. Look

There is a whole recipe folder for all the different greens. The trick to the

bitterness in the greens is to cook a coarsely chopped apple with them. Chanda

and Lawanna taught us about this

Hi all,

Does anyone here make collard greens? I have several recipes at home

and they all come out too bitter.

What about bok choy? I tend to cook it up in a bit

of broth, soy sauce, garlic and a drop of sesame oil....and we're

getting tired of this too.

Thanks for any ideas!

I just detest the mushroom flavor BTB. I love mushrooms, just something about

that mushroom BTB turns my stomach. I don't know if it will taste the same with

you using the mushroom flavor. Did I ever send you a jar of the veg flavor?

ok well I will send you another jar next time I get a case, now I use the low

sodium which is good too, just a smaller jar. I am down to one jar left so it

will be soon. :o)

I was angry when whole foods stopped selling the veg flavor.. what the heck!

anyway, I can't wait until you try the cb greens, let us know how you like them.
