Guest guest
One of the cookbooks I like to use is so old I hate to even mention it because I'm dating myself. It's the original " Laurel's Kitchen " which I bought way back in the 1970's--many, many years before I became a vegetarian. One recipe I used was the homemade yogurt(I've gotten lazy and I don't make it much anymore). It's definitely worth buying if you ever find one at a yard sale or flea market. Ann This is an unusual salad dressing recipe from Laurel's Kitchen we really like. Broccoli Salad Dressing 1 cup cooked broccoli, mainly flowers 1/4 cup oil 1/4 cup wine vinegar pinch basil dash each: dill weed, cumin, pepper 1 Tablespoon tomato sauce 1/4 teaspoon salt Blend all ingredients thoroughly in blender. Makes about 1 cup creamy green dressing that resembles guacamole.
