Guest guest Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 Sweet & Sour Purple Cabbage 1 teaspoon margarine 1/2 cup chopped onion 3 cups chopped purple cabbage 2 cups apples, sliced and halved 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons brown sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar 1/2 teaspoon dijon mustard 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper Saute, onion in cooking spray and margarine for 1 minute. Add cabbage and apples and saut, for 3 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well. Cover. Cook over low heat 20 to 25 minutes. Sprinkle with caraway seed if desired. Makes 6 servings.
