Guest guest
How do you cook the potatoes prior to making this? I want to make it tonight, so I hope for a quick reply, LOL. If not I guess I will nuke them until almost done. hugs, Chanda , Fawnette Larson <yogiyogabear wrote: > > So easy and so delicious > Fawnette > > Cheese Potato Casserole > > 6 cups sliced cooked potatoes > 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded > 2 eggs, beaten > 1 1/2 cups milk > 2 tsps. salt > 1/8 tsp. nutmeg > > In casserole, layer half the potatoes and half the cheese. Guest guest
It's not my recipe but this is what I would do. Slice them semi thick and boil them for about 4 minutes. Test them. They should be firm but semi tender, not where they break apart. Kind of a par-cooked state.
