Crockpot Holiday Wassail Punch

 

1 qt - 1 gal apple juice or cider

1 qt orange juice

2 C cranberry juice

2 C pineapple juice

1 Cup sugar

4 sticks cinnamon

24 whole cloves

Orange slices

 

Combine all ingredients to your 6+ qt crockpot and cook on low

setting for about 4 hours or until heated to steaming temperature. Do

not boil! You may also cook it on high initially until steaming and

reduce heat to save time. This reheats well for 3 -4 days if

covered. Makes 1 1/2 gallons.

 

Adding any alcohol is optional, like rum (makes it sweeter) or vodka

or even a whiskey blend. People seem to laugh more with the alcohol

added. One's house really smells like Christmas with this on the

stove.
