Optional: Add enough liquid such as your favorite broth, milk, etc to desired consistancy. To serve, heat but do not boil. Garnish with a dollop of sour cream and chopped fresh chives. Note : Any type of squash, apples, etc. will work. I just like the combined flavor of this particular group. This soup is also great slightly sweetened and spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.
