Guest guest
I had to share this experience from my friend who just switched her family over to Quorn products. She is switching to a vegetarian diet, but her family of men are refusing to give up meat. She wanted to give it a month before she told them to see if they noticed a difference and to see if she would be able to stick to it. Yesterday she made open faced sandwiches with the meatless turkey roll, and she used Watkins onion mix as the gravy base. She served it with mashed potatoes and green beans and they loved it! Her husband told her " You couldn't eat this good if you were a vegetarian. " We have been laughing about that all day long.
Guest guest
I love this story! Thanks for sharing! My sister-in-law recently became a vegetarian. She has been cooking separate meals for her family because they don't want to be vegetarians (they think the NEED meat). So one night she didn't feel like making separate meals, so she made sloppy joes with the morning star farms crumbles. Her kids loved it. Her oldest daughter (9 years old) even asked for seconds! They had no idea that it wasn't real meat until later. The kids seem to be all for " fake " sloppy joes now. I just found the quorn products locally. I am amazed at how great these taste! , ande frayser <andefrayser wrote: > > I had to share this experience from my friend who just switched her family over to Quorn products. Guest guest
That is so great! I had a similar experience with my husband. I made some tacos with the Morning tar farms crumbles and didn't tell him and he said, " Man I love what you with food! " When I told him what it was he didn't believe me!! I had to show him. I actually had a friend tell me that he would shrivel up and die if he couldn't have steak. LOL.
