Not one ever asks if the alternative meats in their foods like chili, spaghetti, casseroles is real or not and the eat everything up and tell me when they will be back over again and would I make this or that again.. Presentatioon plays a big part. if you have a nice bowl for hummus and garnish the top of your hummus with green onion, little paprika, etc. people will dig right in. I had a similar experience with my husband. I made some tacos with the Morning tar farms crumbles and didn't tell him and he said, " Man I love what you with food! " When I told him what it was he didn't believe me!! I had to show him. I actually had a friend tell me that he would shrivel up and die if he couldn't have steak. LOL.
