Guest guest
Take a pancake and spread lingonberry jam on it and dust with powdered sugar. Do the same with a waffle. Delicious. I just roll them up and eat them. Donna --- On Sun, 10/12/08, wwjd <jtwigg wrote: wwjd <jtwigg Re: Donna Popovers Sunday, October 12, 2008, 8:27 PM I'll have to try this. I found some ligonberry jam at Big Lots recently and have really enjoyed in on toast in the morning. I've been meaning to mention it, since you were the first and only one I've ever heard talk about this delicious jam. They have holes in them when you open them up. I always put butter and lingonberry jam on mine. Judy - AJ Saturday, October 11, 2008 9:33 AM [vegetarian_ group] Popovers My kids love these for breakfast with jam, they are even nice cold. Popovers 1 cup flour 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 eggs 1 cup skim milk Sift flour and salt together; set aside. Beat eggs and skim milk; add to flour. Beat until smooth and creamy. Pour into heated greased muffin tins, filling half full or less. Bake at 375 degrees for 50 minutes, or until popovers are golden brown and sound hollow. DO NOT OPEN OVEN FOR FIRST 40 MINUTES.
