I found some ligonberry jam at Big Lots recently and have really enjoyed in on toast in the morning. I've been meaning to mention it, since you were the first and only one I've ever heard talk about this delicious jam. They have holes in them when you open them up. I always put butter and lingonberry jam on mine. Guest guest
Lingonberry is not only good on toast, pancakes and oatmeal you will be pleasantly surprised to include it in potato, stuffing and other starchy side dishes. At Ikea you can find Lingonberry syrup which makes a lovely soda water addition, spikes up punch, ice cream and even gives a kick to your sauces and gravies. Some culinary specialists compare it to the cranberry in it's diversity. Hope this helps!
Guest guest
It's sweet enough to use as a dessert topping and tart enough to enjoy along with side dishes and casseroles. I love it on top of stuffing, alongside mashed potatoes. Oh! In the center of oatmeal or on my bread pudding.. Donna Now if you're sad and you're feeling blue Go out and buy a brand new pair of shoes And you go down, down to Tangie Town 'Cause people down there really like to get it on SOURCE - Doors Maggie McGill --- On Mon, 10/13/08, Vera <hopecharityfaith wrote: Vera <hopecharityfaith Re:lingonberry Monday, October 13, 2008, 10:14 AM Lingonberry is not only good on toast, pancakes and oatmeal you will be pleasantly surprised to include it in potato, stuffing and other starchy side dishes.
