Diane turban squash Hard Squash ?

You can eat them. They are not really sweet or flavorful like butternut or

banana squash. They are more thick skin and hollow inside and rather dry. I use

them for decoration, I rub some olive oil in the skin and they shine. To use

for a meal they are more bother to open and cook than they are worth, almost

need a chainsaw to open and expensive to buy.

That's my opinion of them lol

I've always been curious about those turban-shaped squash. Do they

taste good or are they just ornamental?

I don't remember ever seeing banana squash before.

I've not cooked with the Turban squash before. I'll have to oil one up though

to add to my decorations.
