Diane turban squash Hard Squash ?

Thanks Donna! I'm way too lazy to work that hard if it's not going to

taste good LOL. They look so neat though. :) Like something in a Dr

Suess book.

Those banana squash are always cut in pieces and sold. Looks like a butternut

squash inside. Tastes almost the same.

I don't remember ever seeing banana squash before.

I've not cooked with the Turban squash before. I'll have to oil one up though

to add to my decorations.

Hard squash is excellent for tempura or grilling since the high heat works well

to extract the natural sugars. It is not as sweet as some but a lovely addition

to a tempura or grilled plate.

Sorry, what is considered " hard squash " ? I love zucchini and yellow squash.

Hard squash is excellent for tempura or grilling since the high heat works

well to extract the natural sugars. It is not as sweet as some but a lovely

addition to a tempura or grilled plate.
