Melinda- vegetarians and non-vegetarians

This group is so good for support and recipes. People who understand.

I'm mexican and my family didn't like the idea of me going

vegetarian. They thought I would be in the hospital within a month.

They believe you need 3 meals with meat a day.

Now I have them trying some of the groups recipes. They like what I

take during holidays and birthdays.

I don't have any problems anymore. they are all acfcepting. It's a

little hard at first. I also think when we are a new vegetarian we

are excited about it and we want to tell everyone about it. Not to

concert them but to say this tastes good, or I feel better, or they

see us reading Vegetarian Times or looking through a cookbook or

something different, or we don't join them at junk food places

anymore. They see a little bit of a change in us.

I'm looking forward to Halloween, we've been invited and I'm going to take

an Italian Spaghetti Squash, Mushroom and Parmesan Panini's and grape tomato

and mozzarella skewers for the grill. I'll Take some bread and seasoned

olive oil for dipping.
