Guest guest Posted October 14, 2008 Report Share Posted October 14, 2008 I make tempura very often. I use all the hard squashes except turban squash. This is an ornamental squash in my house. There isn't much taste, quite a bit of work to open and not much squash meat inside. When I'm done with the autumn display I will oepn it and serve soup out of the shell.
