Mark Minced Pie Filling 1 pound fresh ripe pears, chopped 1 lemon rind, grated 1 orange rind, grated 1 pound mixed dried fruit 4 ounces candied peel 4 ounces glace cherries 4 ounces dates, chopped 2 ounces flaked almonds 1 teaspoon allspice 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger 4 tablespoons whisky or other liquid Mix all the ingredients together and let stand for 1 to 2 hours.
