Guest guest
I am enjoying reading how everyone likes to use fruit in their baking and cooking. So many great ideas. I love to cook some berries, any of them, with a little water, sugar, and bring to a low simmering boil, covered. After cooking for about 5-8 minutes, I add some cornstarch to a little cold water and mix well. Then add it to the boiling fruit and stir often until it thickens. Serve over some nice hearty Whole Wheat Toast, pound cake or pancakes. Judy http://www.lifetalk.net/ listen live on the internet. It comforts my heart. I often have it playing on my computer while I am on it. Enjoy!
Guest guest
This stewed berries recipe below is also good over some oatmeal and icecream. Also good to just eat in a bowl.
