Guest guest
Did it come in a bag with some liquid? There are some at my local chain grocer, but they are kinda scary to me- floating around in some juice. Glad for the recommendation --- On Wed, 10/22/08, Vera <hopecharityfaith wrote: Vera <hopecharityfaith Re: Question of the Week - What kind of pasta do you like and how do Wednesday, October 22, 2008, 11:46 AM I recently found a new favorite addition Tofu Pasta. I picked it up at the local Asian market right next to the yam noodles and is is wonderful. It is great as regular pasta with sauce or as a ShaBu dish nice texture flavor and a great way to add extra protein to finicky kids diets too. Guest guest
Yes, the noodles are suspended in liquid but it is simply water like regular Tofu - just snip a corner to drain it off or dump into a collander like any noodle. Since they are Tofu they need no " cooking " and are neutral in taste. I agree they are a bit odd looking compared to traditional noodles but they are a treat not to be missed.
