Guest guest Posted October 23, 2008 Report Share Posted October 23, 2008 Sugar Peas and Carrots in Lime Butter 2 ounces butter 2 cloves garlic, crushed 1 tbsp. plus 1 tsp. lime juice 1/2 tsp. soft brown sugar 1/4 lb. carrots, peeled and cut into thin diagonal slices 1/4 lb. sugar snap peas, washed and stringed 1/8 tsp. lime zest Heat butter in a heavy nonstick pan over medium-high heat. Add garlic, cook over low heat 1 minute. Add juice and sugar. Cook, stirring over heat until sugar has completely dissolved. Add peas and carrots.
