Guest guest
It's wonderful. Kind of like BBQ potato chips in taste, not strong. Do you have a Penzey's Spice Shop? You can find it very fresh and inexpensive there. I add it to lentils, sprinkle across potato salad, etc. Donna " Tolerance of other opinions builds thy inner peace " Source: Dalai Lama --- On Mon, 10/27/08, Audrey Snyder <AudeeBird wrote: Audrey Snyder <AudeeBird Smoked Paprika? Monday, October 27, 2008, 6:14 AM I've seen a couple of recipes that call for smoked paprika -- couldn't find it at walmart, did find it at Price Chopper, but it was almost $5 for a small bottle! I thought I'd ask what it was and what it tastes like before buying some. I made one recipe without it and it was fine. So what is smoked paprika?? Audrey S. Guest guest
It sounds good -- I love BBQ potato chips! I've never heard of Penzey's, though I know there is a spice shop of some kind pretty close to me, I'll have to check it out. My mom, who is a good cook, sticks with onion and garlic powder, parsley, and a few other basic spices in cooking, and I learned from her. Just in the last year or so, I discovered fresh basil, which I LOVE! Thanks! Audrey S. On Mon, Oct 27, 2008 at 7:26 AM, Donnalilacflower <thelilacflowerwrote: > It's wonderful.
