Guest guest
Tazo " Om " and Tazo " Lotus " green teas are really, really good. I like the herbal " Calm " Tazo tea--it's chamomile and some other herbs...has more flavor than just chamomile. Tazo's " Berry Blossom " (comes in light-blue envelopes in the regular box) is one of the best flavored WHITE teas I've tried. White tea is apparently even more finicky than green for making it " right " . If the water's too hot, or if it steeps too long...it gets too much of the bitter tanins in the tea. It's supposed to be good--or even better for a person than even the green tea--just full of antioxidants. They call it " white' because it's the outermost small " tips " of the tea bud that are picked (apparently pretty rare). These buds look almost white and sort of fuzzy when picked. --Laura B., in Illinois. (I like this " tea " thread!) Guest guest
Yes, UMMM! The Tazo " Honeybush " tea is probably what you mean. I like it a lot and have had it often. I have a friend who hosts a small group of people from our church every Sunday evening or Sunday afternoon. He makes coffee and has hot water for tea for anyone who wants it--and sets out an assortment of different tea-bags--I always go for the Tazo Honeybush ones. I know they are caffiene free and the taste is nice, mellow and a tiny bit spicy. YUMMM! --Laura B. Guest guest
Tazo white tea with cranberry sounds really good. Showing what a plebian I am -- Lipton actually makes a peach (or maybe it's apricot) white tea, which really good with just a tiny bit of sugar. (I don't care for green tea, I think it tastes like dirt!) Audrey S.
