Guest guest
- <thelilacflower >Yikes I can't handle any type of mint anything. Why? Is it external too? I ask 'cause I don't particularly like mint either - makes my teeth wicked cold. What's most peculiar though is externally, mint stings! Those shampoos that the salons are all using (not that I frequent salons, but it's hard to trim the back of my hair and sometimes my husband isn't cooperative), lip balm, mint gum that gets on my lips or cheeks (from my kids kissing me 'cause lord knows my husband doesn't do that anymore and I don't chew it unless I'm desperate), it's horrible. Does that happen to you too? Tameson in NH
Guest guest
I can't even walk by mint in a garden without getting dry heaves. I have not used it in lotions, shampoo, etc. The odd thing is my Mom is the say way. My sister loves mint. There are only a few things I can't stand and mint, caraway seeds and milk are the 3. Guest guest
When I was in the hospital for that lovely month, they loved coming to get blood in the middle of the night. One of the techs always had doublemint gum and the smell always makes me get either dry heaves or barf. Of course when I started barfing they gave me IV phenergan and called for more blood work, done by the same tech.....argh. That stuff makes me so sick. ~shudders!~ Jeanne in GA
Guest guest
That's funny -- if I feel nauseous, I chew mint gum and it helps! We're all different! Audrey S.
