Guest guest
I was always afraid to try this (pau d'arco) as tea because I thought it would be nasty and bitter. Glad to see it's not so! I have not tried dandelion root yet, but I know it is good for detoxing. (I may have an anctual tea with dandelion mixed in with other botanicals, stashed up in my cupboard, now that I think of it...I remember taking dandelion in capsules for a while--it makes you GO --like a water-pill, if I remember rightly!) I've had and have kept milk thistle seed tea in my stash for some time now. It is good for the detox, too--I'd swear by it in any case! --Laura B. ******************************************** Pau D'Arco is made from bark of a tree in South America. The bark that is used is 100 feet up the tree. Supposedly, when it's in the stomach no bacteria or virus can grow. Used for centuries as a medicinal curative. I love the taste. It's subtle. You may have to be a non-smoking vegetarian to appreciate the soft sweetness and gentle nuttiness, but it's amazing.
