Guest guest
I drink a lot of water and green tea. If and when I take a vitamin I take it after dinner. It stays in your system longer at night and it doesn't upset my stomach. I can't imagine not drinking water. I have great skin and I owe it all to loads of water, fiber, ground flax, hemp nut seeds, eating every veggie I can find, no preservatives if I can help it, 1/2 can of Coke a day and staying out of the sun. (If I don't have my 1/2 can of Coke a day I will seriously sugar binge). There is no link on the net that will change my mind about water. Guest guest
no one can change my mind about water either. I've never eaten much meat, so in the year or so that i've called myself a vegetarian, my diet has not significantly changed with the exception of two things... i eat a lot of sprouts now, and i drink a lot of water now, and my diabetic symptoms have nearly disappeared - i no longer need insulin. I credit the water and all the extra good stuff i eat Coke Classic *drool* - i love it. That and root beer. --- On Tue, 11/4/08, DonnaLilacFlower <thelilacflower wrote: DonnaLilacFlower <thelilacflower Water Drinking Tuesday, November 4, 2008, 3:01 AM I drink a lot of water and green tea. Guest guest
I think what the other poster was talking about was the push to drink 8 glasses of water a day, not saying that water isn't important. I, too, have seen information that says you don't really need *8 glasses of water a day* -- we get a lot of water from fruits and vegetables, and some from other foods. That is not to say that water isn't important and very good for you. Audrey
Guest guest
I replaced black coffee and diet soda with water. I drink 8-10 glasses a day. I feel so much better and my skin radiates. Mary
Guest guest
I so need to do that. I don't really drink much water. I drink too much tea, no soda. Jerri
Guest guest
I think as a general rule we do not drink as much water as our bodies need. Oftentimes we mistake thirst for hunger and end up eating rather than drinking. I'm sure our requirements for water differ based on our diets (amount of water in fruits and vegetables, etc), weight, activity level, etc. Paula
