Guest guest Posted November 6, 2008 Report Share Posted November 6, 2008 Mixed Baby Greens with Aniseed Vinaigrette 1 shallot or scallion, quartered 2 cloves garlic 1 tsp. whole green peppercorns 1/2 tsp. aniseed 1 tbsp. white wine vinegar 1/4 tsp. salt (optional), or to taste 1/4 cup olive oil 4 1/4 cups baby greens In a blender or food processor, chop shallot, garlic, peppercorns and aniseed. Add vinegar and salt to taste and blend well. While processing, add oil in a stream and blend dressing until emulsified. In a large bowl toss greens with vinaigrette until coated. Makes 4 servings.
