Guest guest
Veat is the only meat substitute that I eat. It tastes like the real thing. The texture and smelll are real, too. Guest guest
Where can I buy Veat? The website doesn't work for zip codes. sue Katie wrote: > > > Veat is the only meat substitute that I eat. It tastes like the real > thing. Guest guest
Double thank you!! This site is great. I've sent it to my daughter-in-law as well, who is struggling with a gluten-free diet. Diana
Guest guest
Thank you for the Veat site which got me to Wellness which had the gluten free foods. So much good information that sometimes I get just float from place to place :>) Diana

Guest guest
I would have to pass on it if it smells and tastes like real meat. Anyway this would be a good analog for transitioning to a meat free diet. I get physically ill if I smell meat cooking now. Have never seen it any stores here in PA so I can not recommend anyplace that sells it. Good luck to all that want to make the switch. Do it because you enjoy it or you will never stick to the vegetarian diet. --- Donnalilacflower <thelilacflower wrote: > > Veat is too much like the real thing. Guest guest
Something about a fake chicken breast made to look like it has a leg and a wing on it? I couldn't handle that. I like Quorn -- good texture and subs well for meat in recipes, but I think it's obvious it's not meat. I can't get to the website (lots of stuff blocked at work). Is Veat made of soy? Guest guest
This is what I think about Veat. It's the perfect alternative for a new vegetarian missing the taste of their previous food. It's very much like the real thing. it's also a fantastic option for a vegetarian on a gluten free diet. It isn't for me, I've been a veg for over 28 yrs and I don't crave any me*t products. I make veg burgers most of the time but a frozen veg burger is a great time saver now and then. Donna Through violence, you may 'solve' one problem, but you sow the seeds for another.
