Guest guest
Hey everyone, just joined this awesome group and wanted to introduce myself... Name's aNNie, I'm a Montreal-based artist focusing on our relationship to the environment through animation and painting, you're invited to see my stuff at aNNieBriard.com. The recipes in this group look great, can't wait to try them. Here's one of my favorite quick snack recipes when I need a protein fill: Crispy tofu bites with spice 1 block firm tofu 2 Tbs szechwan peppers (if you don't like spice, omit this) 1 Tbs canola or safflower or veg oil 1 tsp sesame oil 3 green onions, chopped Rinse 1 block firm tofu, and cut into 1/4 " x 1 " pieces. Coat in flour and cornstarch. Fry in canola and sesame oil mix with the crushed szechwan peppers in a pan, turning til the tofu is crispy and browned. Add in soy sauce and mix. Put tofu in serving plate and sprinkle with roasted sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Delicious! Even my tofu-hating friends eat it up. Enjoy, aNNie
