Guest guest
Meat substitutes aren't just for transititioning to a vegetarian lifestyle, but for many it is a taste they enjoy and use with different recipes to add great variety to the menu. I personally have never ever eaten meat. I am a 3rd generation vegetarian raising a 4th generation and we love using the Worthington and Loma Linda products often. We don't use them every meal, but often thru the week. I hear some of you talking about the Vegetarian Hot dogs. Well our favorites are the Big Franks, Vega-Links and the Linketts. All have their own unique flavor and I enjoy using them in many different ways. This morning for breakfast, I sliced up 3 vega-links in round circles and browned in some hot oil. I quartered 4 red skined potatoes and sliced them in small quartered potatoe slices, rinsed them and steamed them in a large bowl covered with a dinner plate in the microwave for 6 minutes. I then add the steammed potatoes, some sliced onions and green peppers to the browned vegalink rounds, I covered the pan and stirred often until slightly browned and all was nice and tender, . I sprinkled with some salt, Adobo All purpose seasoning and curry powder and tossed well to coat all and cooked for 3 more minutes or so. I had this all cooked up in 15 minutes. We had some Soy and Flaxseed bread toasted, some fruit slices and we ready to go work out hard at the health club. It was delicious. These products are here for you to enjoy.
