Guest guest
This is a recipe I made for my pig Sue who is 18. She has had trouble with arthritis and dry skin. I thought I was going to lose her this winter as she was down for months. This helped her tremendously. Plus, both of us are addicted to it. This healed her skin and dropped growths that we both had. She has increased movement and actually begs for this stuff. She enjoys tummy rubs again. She is better than she has been in years. Here are two versions of it. Hope you enjoy as we as we do. Sue's Healing Salad Dressing 2 cloves minced garlic 4 tbspns apple cider minced fresh Basil (2 leaves each Italian and Purple Basil) 2 sprigs mint 3oz plain or vanilla yogurt 3 tbspns Agave Nectar (NOT syrup) dash dry mustard dash pepper one cup plus grapeseed oil (or olive oil) First, I put the vinegar, minced herbs, Agave, mustard, pepper in blender on chop. You could do this by hand. I add the yogurt, than the oil. Use a blender or just shake it good. ... Chilling over night increases the flavor. Second version is more like a spread, thicker and more creamy/dessert like Sue's Healing Salad Spread 2 cloves minced garlic 4 tbspns apple cider minced fresh Basil (6 leaves each Italian and Purple Basil 2 sprigs mint 5oz Yoplait vanilla yogurt 3 tbspns Agave Nectar (NOT syrup) dash dry mustard dash pepper one cup plus grapeseed oil (or olive oil) mix all ingredients except the yogurt and oil. put in fridge overnight. mix oil preferably in blender or shaker. then blend yogurt to a pudding like texture in the same way. ( this came about when I ran out of my homemade yogurt which I normally use at the same time I ran out of dressing for my girl. so I threw in the Yoplait) I really like the taste. I plan to try it next time with my soy yogurt. Chilling over night increases the flavor.
Guest guest
Ellen this is the most heartfelt story. Eeeeee You made me tear up. I'm sorry happy these recipes helped. I miss my old man Koko the Siamese. He did make it 2 months before his 19th birthday. I did rush right out and rescue 2 sweet kitty girls and they absolutely love one another. Guest guest
Ellen, I am wondering if this could be as great on my daughter's skin. We are using a prescription cortisone, and it is very strong. All the dry rough itchy eczema is gone. I would rather find something I can feel safe with (the warning on the label is very strict about getting it in your eyes and mouth- she is 2.5! Hello!) Anyway, thanks for the recommendation Cassie " life's a garden, dig it! Guest guest
For skin problems, is this to be eaten or spread on the skin? Thank you. Nothing is helping my skin!
