Also look near the middle of the page for other products.

Re: [vegetarian_ group] Laura Aleternative products

One line of products I haven't found yet is 'instant grains'... i eat grains

nearly every m eal, and i have to say it gets old, it would be so nice to have

single serve millet, barley, quoina... i have no idea how they would do it,

maybe cook them, then dehydrate them or something, but it would be nice to have

the convenience. .. no preservatives, throw it in boiling water and it's ready

in 3 minutes or so

Your post isn't offensive at all. I agree with you.

There is no certain alternative product out there that will appeal to all of us

for one reason or another. I think it's fantastic there are so many items to

select from. It makes the transition so much easier for a new vegetarian. I make

my own burgers but I keep some of the alternative products on hand because it's

nice to have a tasty quick fix meal too. Sometimes I like to perk up my

spaghetti sauce with Tofurky Italian sausage. I also enjoy the crunchy

waterchestnuts and red pepper flakes in the Asian burger by Morningstar.

Another thing you can do with riblets is make a nice spiced up lentil stew, toss

some potatoes in it and add a chopped up riblet, it really makes a hearty stew.

The BBQ sauce gives it that smokey flavor.
