I agree, we are on such rushed schedules all the time that it is nice to have

something quick to grab now and then, we all enjoy something different.  I love

the Shirataki tofu noodles.  The packets are just enough for one, already

cooked.  Just heat up, toss some sauce on top or toss with a little olive oil

and dried herbs and you are ready to eat in 2 minutes.  I have to leave work at

11:30am, run home grab a bite and be at the resh home at 12:15 pm.  Now that is

really rushing  Mon - Fri

In a pinch it's nice to have something in the freezer that I can just grab but

in general I prefer to cook.

I wasn't trying to convert anyone I just know what I like and I was sharing my

opinion.  I've actually lost 15 pounds since I stopped eating me*t.

And the frozen meals, no matter what brand -- Lean Cuisine, Smart Ones,

Amy's, are usually very small. I do like Amy's green tamale (which is

vegan). It's a decent-sized meal, unlike the cheese enchilada.

Mel, I lost 8 pounds during the first 6 months of eating (mostly)

vegetarian. I didn't lose more for two reasons -- one is that I didn't eat

that much meat to begin with, and my addiction to sweets!! I have about 8

more pounds to lose, doing this through exercise instead of depriving myself

of brownies, cookies, etc. :)
