Guest guest
But the root is edible and medicinal [great for stomach ulcers] so dig it up and cook with the root :-) I buy the ground kudzu to thicken food in place of corn starch. It is much more nutritious than corn starch and uses the same proportions. I don't believe that I have seen it here in northern California. We have hemalaya berries [they are like blackberries, but will completely take over a piece of property]. They do make good compost. Kathleen > This kudzu is something you never ever want to get started on your property. It is one tough vine that is almost impossible to cut and takes over. We constantly fight with the neighbor's kudzu that keeps trying to take over one side of our horse pasture fencing. ugh............ > Our horses will nibble on it some, but never enough to keep us from having to work hard to cut it back. > Judy
