I cat-sat once for a friend and ended up locking myself and the cat on a second-story balcony. Had to jump to the ground floor and go around through the (thankfully) unlocked front door -- fortunately, the indoor cat seemed to think this was only mildly entertaining behavior and did not follow me down the balcony!!
