Guest guest
It will last a long time but the flavor isn't as good. Works perfect for peanut butter cookies when it's old. I keep mine in the fridge but as it ages it will dry out so then it's cookie time. Donna --- On Mon, 11/17/08, Deann <deannmt wrote: Deann <deannmt Re: Peanut butter ? Guest guest
There is one of those jars of natural peanut butter that puts Egg Whites in it. Why in the world they do that is beyond me, but you definitely have to keep those refrigerated and 6 months is almost to long if it has the egg whites in it. Most natural brands of Peanut butter don't have this in it and if that is the case, then it should still be great! I just love to go to Fresh Market(upscale grocery store) and grind up my own peanuts into peanut butter. It has no added oil and tastes wonderful and is only $1.99-2.99/lb. Also many health food stores have these nut butter grinders, made right in front of you from nuts. and it is just slightly highter. Judy - AJ Monday, November 17, 2008 12:34 PM Peanut butter ?
