FWIW, I have read every single thing Elliot and his wife Barbara Damrosh have ever written as well as have seen all of their PBS TV show from the 90s (every episode). I missed him a few years back at the Common Ground Fair in Maine - man was I bummed. Maybe it was more than a few years ago, but I'm still bummed about it. Ah someday maybe I'll get to hear him in person. Anyway, if you are in a northern climate trying to grow a year round supply of veggies I highly recommend the 4 season harvest.
