Guest guest
We had our Thanksgiving over the weekend for a few friends. Any ideas on what to turn the leftover green bean casserole into? I was thinking about possibly blending into a soup with some broth. Any other/better ideas? I was already going to turn the leftover mashed potatoes into a soup so even though I could freeze the green bean soup I was thinking of trying for something else. I could use a dish that would combine the green bean casserole with the leftover carrots that I have too. Does anyone have any ideas of other kinds of leftovers? It's getting to be that time so I think others might be looking for ideas. I also made a cranberry relish with pears and ginger.... any ideas on that? I am just looking for new ideas this time around. Thanks, Al
Guest guest
Toss the green beans with the carrots and some some cooked spiral or penne shaped pasta, and some herbs of choice and now saute some onions and garlic and spoon over the top and sprinkle with your favorite grated cheese and bake on 350. Don't forget to add some Crumbles or a nice Tofurky brat or Italian sausage cut in rounds if you like. How's that sound? Guest guest
How about adding some more/different veggies, a little bit of chilli if wanted, topping with some creamed potato and making it into a veggie cottage pie, serve with peas and maybe the chutney!
