I hated them as a kid. I was forced to eat them. I converted my better half,

Irene to go veggie.

She insisted that we include them in a roasting. OMG, so delicious. I can't get

enough.

We halved them and then did our usual roast with potatoes, squash, onions,

tomatoes and

she'll have to tell you the staging. Yumm, the roasted Brussel sprouts were so

tasty. I had to

fight her for them. 350 degree oven for about 25 minutes. We also argued about

temperature

(I usually roast at 500 for a shorter period). She wins. Can't get enough.

We'll roast up a batch and save for quesidillias and pizza.

I think we need to try artichokes next.

Roasted Brussel Sprouts!!!

Now you're cooking with GAS!

I just made these last night.

And was going to post it.

I did the half cut with a smear of olive oil, salt, crushed black pepper and

a little sliver of garlic, dribble (Carefully) of Lea & Perrine.

I also use the 250* oven and cover with foil.

Brussel Sprouts are HUGE flavor.

I also served Victory a side of slice late season Zucchini

(Cut the Finger sized zucchini into long halves),

Seasoned the same way with the addition of Coriander.

Served as a side to the main dish of Mushroom Pate en Croute.

OH, Yeah! Huge yum-yum.

Cooking is like love,

It should be entered into with abandon

not at all.,
