Guest guest
I adore him. He is not only funny and his recipes are delicious but he explains food science as he goes along. He cooks plenty of recipes we can us, and I do have his cookbook. In fact the other night when I made the Pasta with Spicy Peanut Sauce, I didn't have any peanut butter, so I tossed some Honey Roasted peanuts and a little peanut oil in my Vita -Mix and made some great peanut butter for it. I left out the sugar in the Pasta with Spicy Peanut Sauce recipe, since the peanuts were already honey sweetened. BTW I like that Chef too. LOL I get a good laugh out of his ways of demonstrating things. Judy - Pete Self Vegetarian Group Tuesday, November 18, 2008 2:04 PM Judy - Peanut Butter - Food Network Link Good afternoon! Grinding our own peanut butter - YUM - it doesn't get any better. I always make my own at home. this is the recipe that got me started, it is a link (I'm an Alton Brown fan - yeah I know he's goofy http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/homemade-peanut-butter-recipe/ind\ ex.html I use agave instead of honey and more often than not i just use spanish peanuts out of the shell that i buy in bulk but getting them in the shell - it always tastes better.
