Guest guest
One quick thing for Yule/Christmas/Hannukah is to stab some fresh cranberries and put them into a bottle of vodka with a shot or two taken out, add a teaspoon of sugar as well, shake every couple of days for a minimum of a month, do the same with some chillis in vodka, then as a quick thing for a buffet with the chilli vodka, stab some cherry/grape tomatoes, pour over a decent glug and leave in a fridge over night, with the cranberry vodka stab some SOT slices (SOT stands for small orange thing, mandarin, satsuma etc) and again leave over night. The following day scoop out the tomatoes and put them out with some cocktail sticks for people to nibble on (some people recommend some sea salt mixed with fresh herbs as something to dip them into), same with the SOT slices, with the marinating vodkas, use the tomato one to make bloody Mary's with and the orange one to make a buck's fizz with bite!
