Slice the sprouts in half lengthwise, removing any loose, outer leaves and trimming the bottom stems. Toss sprouts in a little bit of olive oil and add salt and pepper, to taste. Spread cut side up in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until browned. Serve immediately. Guest guest
I am definitely going to try this. I don't consider myself a brussel sprout lover or even liker. However, on the weekend we went to Fressen (an awesome, upscale veg restuarant in Toronto. If you are every in TO definitely try it...great for brunch too). I had the gluten roast and it came with brussel sprouts (almost didn't order it because of that). They were delicious...maybe done like this recipe. , " AJ " <coolcook wrote: > > Oven Roasted Brussel Sprouts > > brussel sprouts > olive oil > salt and pepper > > Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. > Slice the sprouts in half lengthwise, removing any loose, outer leaves and > trimming the bottom stems. > Toss sprouts in a little bit of olive oil and add salt and pepper, to taste. > Spread cut side up in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet. > Bake 400 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes, until browned. > Serve immediately. > > >
