Guest guest
That made me remember a cake that when it was done you poked holes in the top and poured the lime juice into the holes. Anyone remember that. And the juice may have been mixed with confectioners sugar??? sue thelilacflower wrote: > > > Squeeze into salsa. Guest guest
Not lime juice, but my Mom and my sister used jello...I always thought it was about as gross as the pink fluff made with cool whip and jello and never ate either of them. Guest guest
My very favorite cake was what my Mom made. It was a lemon cake with a frosting of orange juice and confectioner's sugar (and maybe something else). Right after the cake came out of the oven, you poked holes all over the top with a fork, then poured the liquid concoction all over and let it set up. The cake was moist and orange flavory all the way through. Yumm! - Not lime juice, but my Mom and my sister used jello...I always thought it was about as gross as the pink fluff made with cool whip and jello and never ate either of them. Kukah!
