Guest guest
I think the cake you are remembering is called Grecian Orange. I have been making it over 40 years. here's my recipe: GRECIAN ORANGE CAKE 1 box yellow cake mix 1 pkg. instant lemon pudding 4 eggs 3/4 c. Wesson oil 3/4 c. water Place all ingredients in bowl. Beat on low for 2 minutes. then on high for 3 minutes Pour into greased & floured tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until done. ICING:-- 2 c. confectioners' sugar 1/2 c. frozen orange juice concentrate 4 tbsp. melted margarine warm in a small saucepan until butter is melted and the oj concentrate is thawed out. mixture will be thick and syrupy. While cake is hot and still in the pan, poke 100 holes in top with a wooden skewer and pour mixture over top. Guest guest
Thank you. This sounds easy and reminds me of a lemon one that my godmother makes. I really like your " inconvenienced electrons " ! Diana --- On Sun, 11/23/08, suzanne burdick <sueliz64 wrote: suzanne burdick <sueliz64 Re:does any one else do this?
