Wednesday, November 26, 2008, 4:29 AM I have the same issue with tomatoes. I'm flat out allergic to them, but I can handle them fresh and raw better than cooked as long as I don't overdo it. There for a while I couldn't handle cooked at all without breaking out in hives and all kinds of other nasty symptoms. The worst symptom I've ever gotten from raw is my tongue breaking out. Cooking them does change something about them when you have allergies.
