Guest guest Posted November 26, 2008 Report Share Posted November 26, 2008 Exotic Bean Hummus 2 cups cooked white beans 1 tablespoon tahini 1 tablespoon chopped garlic 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons chopped parsley 1 teaspoon chopped mint, optional 1 teaspoon whole grain mustard 1/4 teaspoon hot pepper sesame oil or to taste salt to taste freshly ground black pepper to taste In a food processor or blender add all the ingredients except the sesame oil and salt and pepper and process until smooth. Add the hot sesame oil and the salt and pepper to taste and combine with a couple of short bursts. Thin if desired with some of the bean cooking liquid, water or buttermilk.
