I am wanting to phase meat out of my diet for health and weight reasons, and I am hoping to learn about new recipes here and ways to prepare delicious vegetarian meals. You're sure to find lots and lots of delicious, healthy recipes in the files. While I really like to cook, one very easy meal you can have any time of day is a " green smoothie " . I fill up the blender (not packed, but loose) with baby spinach. Pour in 1/2 to 1 C of soy milk (or whatever your preference). 1-2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, a piece of fruit. I typically use a banana, but have also put in frozen dark cherries, which was really great. 1 T of flax seed (ground) to give some omega-3's. Blend.
