Guest guest
Oh Diana that is horrible but you were blessed at the same time. I agree, a horn is for emergency purposes, not because the guy in front of you is going 5 MPH too slow. My husband used his horn a lot or flashed lights sometimes (not high beams). I never did either. He used to get so aggravated that I didn't though he rarely let me drive. Well, we driving to MA on 95. We stopped at a rest stop and when we came out, I got behind the wheel. He just said, " I guess you're going to drive. " Both things surprised me. Well on the north side of NY a driver flew off the oncoming ramp right at me. There was a big tractor trailer to my left. I blasted the horn and slammed the brakes. It was so close that it made my hair stand on end. My hubby said, " You never use your horn. Your reaction was so fast. " I simply replied, " A horn is for an emergency. This was an emergency. " I'm sure that that incident was why I got behind the wheel which was totally out of my character. God was guiding me that day. Hurried shoppers who ram one with their carts are thoughtless and rarely even aware that they have hurt you. Diana
