Can any one suggest perhaps another side dish, using green beans?I traditionally serve the following for most holiday suppers....The whole dinner takes less than 2 hours from start to serving time... Mashed red or white potatos with gravy Corn on cob Baked Sweet potatos (igenerally put spices in small one ounce cups for individual preferance) Cous cous with nuts and fruit home made rolls Parve Jello ( kosher non meat type) Homemade crandberry sauce assorted olives and pickles assorted pasteries and always have at least one Vegi stew or soup. Tossed green salad Carrot salad A great wine or 2 After supper, Pineapple or apple juice to help digestion. Alot of my friends and family enjoy the green bean thing but i can't gag it down...and I am open to suggestions.. . amd please, if you can add anything to this list that might round it out some i would be very much in your debt ! Thanks and Happy Hanukkah ! Susan
