Guest guest
I forgot to add that we also cook some basmati rice and add it to the layers on the burrito. It is very good on it. Judy - wwjd Tuesday, December 02, 2008 6:12 PM Re: Dinner for my Boyfriend Burrito's We take a can of Worthington Vegetarian burger, which you pull out of the can in pieces with a fork, into a hot frying pan with a little oil. Brown it over med. high to high heat, flipping and stirring it often. Then take either a paper package of Taco Seasoning or we use some out of one of those large container of Tone's Taco seaoning that you buy at Sams Club, and mix it with water according to what it says to use for 1 lb. of " beef " and stir it into the browned vegetarian burger. Then take a burrito shell and spray a larger heated frying pan with some pam and add your burrito shell. Brown it lightly one one side and then flip it over. Add some of the Taco seasoned Vegetarian Burger down the center, then a layer of grated cheese, some sour cream, taco sauce, diced onions, sliced olives, diced green peppers and salsa. Fold up the bottom and then the sides over that, the way burrito's are foldered and you have yourself a great burrito. He loves Mexican so I was thinking about making a home made salsa and vegetarian burritos but I'm not sure what all to put in them, or what else I could make. I eat dairy, and I don't like tofu. Any suggestions?
