Bruchetta recipe

Hello Group,

 

I am excited to have found this group. I am trying to find recipes for

veggies and fruits. I have been trying the raw food life in spurts, but I still

have one foot in the cooked food world. lol

The recipe I am submitting is from a good friend. It is a good one to take to

potlucks or just enjoy anytime. I usually toast pieces of sourdough bread to

use with this recipe.

KYMME’S BRUCHETTA

 

5 – 6 large tomatoes (diced small)

½ cup Olive Oil

¼ cup minced garlic

1 bunch fresh cilantro, (minced) *

1 Tbsp garlic powder

Juice from 1 lemon

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

Mix all in a bowl

 

Let sit over night

 

For more flavor, let sit for 2 days

 

* Use basil in place of cilantro

 

 

Suggestion: Spoon mixture on small pieces of toasted bread or crackers.
