Review of Donna's Hatian Onion Pie and Appelpaj Swedish Apple Pie

I made both of these on Thanksgiving. I ended up making the " Appelpaj "

Swedish Apple Pie for breakfast, since we already had so many dessert that

others in my extended family were making. Everyone raved about it. I

doubled the recipe so everyone would have some. I used Fuji apples. It was

so delicious!

 

We had the Haitian Onion Pie to go with our Thanksgiving dinner. All the

onion lovers, ate it with great relish. Even one so so onion person, was

making fun of me when I was making it, saying they couldn't imagine an onion

pie. LOL Well they were a good sport and tried it, and then complimented

it over and over again.

 

The " Appelpaj " Swedish Apple Pie recipe is found in our dessert recipes

under pies, and the Haitian Onion Pie recipe is found in the " Quiches,

frittatas,vegetable or bean pies , tortas and tarts " recipe file.
